Photoshop #2

Photoshop #3 For this image I once again went to the adjustment tab and used the Vibrance tool to enhance the image's colors. I wanted the Photoshop image to seem as realistic as possible while giving it a fairy like feel since the newly improved image is unnatural in terms of colors. The sand is more orange than its original baize, and the palm trees themselves are as well are more orange. This orange color being more vibrant in every aspect of the photo makes it convey a fairy like theme. Photoshop #4 For this photo, I felt as if any alteration to the image had the potential to ruin the natural look of the image. So I will probably use the original photo for my magazine's feature spread. Some alterations to the image included cropping the left side of the image since it looks very long because I took the picture horizontally. If I took the picture vertically, I would have needed to crop the image most definitely. The altered image looks forced, or at lea...

Photoshop #1 Although, the picture in my eyes looked find before hand, I still wanted the contrast of the image to be higher and the lighting to be darker as well. In Photoshop, I used the Adjustment settings- more specific I used the Brightness/ Contrast Adjustment. On the Brightness part of the image I dragged the slider to a negative seven, and the contrast of the image was changed by positive 57 units. The new image implies a more mysterious tone since the model's face is only half lit up. Photoshop #2 Because I wanted to use this image that I took to represent the female portion of my audience, I had to substitute the background of the original to one that fit well to the female model. I wanted flexibility for the background of the image so I used the eraser tool in Photoshop and deleted the background of the original photo. Since the new image has no background, the newly created image can be put anywhere in my magazine , for the most part not lo...

Photo Shoots

Photo-shoot #1 Since the magazine that I covered was Entrepreneur magazine, I wanted to captivate what many of their covers have: a model with formal attire with split lighting occurring on the model's face. During the photo-shoot no major problems occurred; however, lighting was an issue because I have never tried to work with split lighting. Also, another tiny problem was scheduling, but that is a problem in any photo when you have a model. Online Photo# 1 This online photo was taken in Fort Lauderdale on ocean drive (Miami, Florida). This area is typically seen as an upper middle class since it is very expensive to live there or at least near the beach. This shot contains a Mercedes, Ferrari, Corvette, and a Maserati bunched up together. The picture seems to fit well in my magazine if I were to put it in my magazine; however, I do not know where the photo will be located, maybe in the table of contents. Photo-shoot#2 This photo-shoot contained little problems to...
