Creating the Cover

After I analyzed my genre of the magazine and the magazine called Entrepreneur itself, I have pondered and decided to make my magazine about a feature spread. With this in mind, the Entrepreneur magazine usually contains ominous colors with the main individual within the middle of the cover. If it is a male they would be a suit and if the main spread would be about a female than they would be business casual attire or a formal dress.

Because of these conventions and codes that I have picked up on with this magazine, my cover will be about a young an upcoming entrepreneur that is a male. This means I would be catering to a more male-focused audience.

The Table of Contents #2

Some changes to the table of contents that I based off mine would be a tag on the upper right of the page. I did contemplate on whether or not to do so; however, I felt as this tag was redundant and not useful to my audience at all. Not only that but it would have made it a predicament for me to plop my other image if this tag was created. Also, I decided to brand the table of contents by putting my magazine's title and issue date because I believed that this feature is necessary to keep the continuity in check; this feature was implemented in the feature spread so it has to be implemented on every page including the table of contents. Because I did not add a tag on the top right and most tables of contents in my genre have an individual in a suit as an image, I put an image from one of my photo-shoots of this young lady on the top right.
