Creating the Cover cont. (Fonts and Colors)




Fonts: The font that I would be considered to be using is the Old English Font MT. Based on the look itself it reminds the reader that the magazine could have been relevant beginning from a long time. Also, the name itself symbolizes how the magazine engulfs the natural mindset of the original American colonists that conjured the Declaration of Independence "Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness". This could correlate with the audience of my magazine since many up and coming entrepreneurs are all pursuing their own individual happiness.




Colors: The cover will have a background that consists of the color gray- maybe a gradient created in or In-Design. The Masthead's color would be black. The individual's suit will be all black or contain a blue within the suit jacket with a white buttoned up shirt. Most likely the first option, but keeping an open mind should help with the process of creating my magazine.

The Table of Contents #2

Some changes to the table of contents that I based off mine would be a tag on the upper right of the page. I did contemplate on whether or not to do so; however, I felt as this tag was redundant and not useful to my audience at all. Not only that but it would have made it a predicament for me to plop my other image if this tag was created. Also, I decided to brand the table of contents by putting my magazine's title and issue date because I believed that this feature is necessary to keep the continuity in check; this feature was implemented in the feature spread so it has to be implemented on every page including the table of contents. Because I did not add a tag on the top right and most tables of contents in my genre have an individual in a suit as an image, I put an image from one of my photo-shoots of this young lady on the top right.
