House Style Project Analysis

House Style Analysis:

          After watching various presentations, each different in various ways, analyzing magazine covers - the house style, I have learned a few methods that I have to keep in mind while creating my own magazine and presentation that goes along with it.
       
What I must keep in mind while creating my magazine:

          The creation of a magazine is very formulaic in its basic components: header, illustration, and the content of the magazine would be either on the left or right-hand side of the cover. Also, the cover’s colors must be vibrant; however, these colors usually are dependent on the theme of the magazine.  Furthermore, the headline of the magazine would be dependent on the focus of the magazine. These headlines were for the most part relatively large and where located on the left side of the cover right next to or under the illustration on the cover. I also must keep my audience in mind, i.e. age group, race, sex, etc.…

What I must keep in mind while creating my presentation:

          After listening to various presentations, I have determined a few focus points that need to be kept in mind for a well-created presentation. I must make sure that the audio is synced and not distorted, my voice is clear, and that there are no extraneous variables that the mic picks up. Not only can I purchase a microphone for the presentation, but I can use outside resources such as websites to record my presentation and then import the files. For the clarity portion, all I must do is double, or triple, check the audio and make sure while recording I am not anxious and present not in a fast pace; my audience must be able to understand what I am saying.
